bio:  Sometime in the mid-nineties, Geoff began to amass a collection of 12″ records and auspiciously learned to mix. Soon, he was making his own mixtapes and handing them out to other djs, friends, and party promoters. He received great reviews and was soon deejaying at the parties and clubnights in his hometown of Calgary. In the Spring of 2001, he started a night in the basement of a Jamaican restaurant with a couple of friends. This eventually lead to a residency at local dance club, The Warehouse, where he shared the decks with the likes of Fabric’s Terry Francis, Claude Von Stroke, John Selway, Tiga, Jay Tripwire and Tyler Stadius among others. In 2005, he developed a regular gig with ‘Deepen’ at the Lotus Sound Lounge in Vancouver. He ended up moving to the city where he interned with Nordic Trax Recordings. Soon after, he started his project, Popkiller and has been keeping up a popular series of events. He’s proud to have brought artists such as John Tejada, Jay Haze, Alex Smoke, and Jeff Samuel to Vancouver for the first time. As of late, he’s been working on developing his production skills. In 2008, he had his first release alongside Mieka Du Franx and Jay Tripwire on Felinephonix Music. Look out for more releases to come in 2009.
