This week, we are celebrating 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall with special guest James Boatman from Open Studios. Recently back from a trip to the dance music mecca, James will be playing some of the freshest house and techno beats that Berlin has to offer.

Join us this Saturday night at Goldies Underground Sound Lounge for another edition of ‘No Static’ and also for a birthday party for our friends Skiddy Smith & Tina Lou. No Static is a new weekly featuring some of Vancouver’s most talented DJs as well as up and comers who simply like to play good music.
Don’t expect to hear the trendiest new electrohouse or whatever is currently hot on the blog scene. This is a night dedicated to underground dance music, from deep techno house, detroit techno and classics, to italo and cosmic disco sounds.
There’s something for everyone and anyone with a full bar, lounge space, dancefloor, tight decor, lighting and visuals, and superb pizza served upstairs on the main floor.
